My intention is to present my professional profile, my research interests, and a little bit of my trajectory in Science, which has been built with enthusiasm and dedication.

I am a Pharmacist-Biochemist with a Ph.D. in Chemistry working in the broad field of

plant metabolomics, analytical chemistry, and natural products chemistry. Since the early days of my first graduation, I have been deeply involved with state-of-the-art omics strategies for the study of primary and secondary metabolites, addressing ecological interactions in nature, plant sciences, food safety, agriculture, environment, and human-health demands.

 

Beyond my scientific background, I also have industrial experience acquired during several years working for pharmaceutical and food companies as a permanent employee and as a scientific and technical consultant. Therefore, besides science, I am confident in translating scientific knowledge into applied routines that demand practical and effective results.
